Please read these Terms and any other terms of use posted on the Website as together they form our Website Terms governing your utilization of our Website and Website services (including the Website Call Centre and Mobile application). We may change these Website Terms from time to time without notice to you by posting the updated Website Terms on the Website, so please be sure to check regularly for updates. When you place an Order through our Website, you are deemed to have consented to the latest version of the Website Terms and then posted on our Website. If a change in law means that we have to change our Website Terms after you have placed an Order but before it has been fulfilled, we are obliged to apply that change to your Order. In all other cases, the version posted at the time your Order was placed will apply. If you do not agree to be bound by the Website Terms, you should not use the Website.

Payment

We currently accept the following tender types for Orders placed on our Website in AED (United Arab Emirates dirham): Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Cash on Delivery, and online credit. Cash on Delivery is permitted for Orders of up to 1000 AED. Payment will be taken at the time you place your Order. By entering payment details onto our Website, you warrant that you are duly authorized to pay using those details. We reserve the right to decline orders without liability to you where we believe payments are not authorized, the payment method is not valid, or where we do not think you are authorized to use to utilize the relevant tender type.

We provide all possible payment options for our customer's convenience. For payments made via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Apple Pay, we may request additional personal documents, such as a passport copy or ID card with a photo, in order to confirm your order. This is required to verify the identity of the buyer and protect the cardholder against any possibility of fraudulent payments. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the payment options available on your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the payment options available on the site (or any portion thereof) if it suspects there is fraudulent or suspicious activity. The Website is not liable or bound to inform or send specific communication to the user regarding the changes to your payment options on the website (or any portion thereof). It is the customer’s responsibility to get in touch with GIFTCITY UAE in order to get the payment options reactivated.

All the Payment Receipts and notifications will send to the customers via email, SMS, and application.

Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules for any other requirement

PRICES

Prices on the Website are displayed in AED and exclude any services you may elect to pair the purchase with, delivery costs, taxes, or duties to which the purchase may be subject. Any such additional costs will be displayed before your final checkout.

Where you purchase using a payment card denominated in a different currency than AED, the payment will be subject to the currency exchange rate applied by your card issuer at the time your payment is completed.

The destination you ask us to deliver to, the items & services you select, and the method of delivery you choose will dictate what delivery charges, taxes, and duties apply (if any). Please refer to our Delivery section for further details on delivery options.

Although we make every effort to ensure prices displayed on our Website and in our communications are correct, errors may occur. If an error occurs and you’re Order:

1.     has already been processed, then we may at our discretion:
2.     cancel the Order (or part thereof), arrange for collection of the mispriced item(s) from your original Order delivery address in the UAE, and issue you a full refund including original Order delivery fees, taxes, and duties (if applicable);
3.     where the price you paid is lower than the actual price of the item, honor the price in your Order; or
4.     where the price you paid is higher than the actual price of the item, refund you the difference;
5.     has not yet been processed, then we will notify you as soon as possible and only process the Order (or part thereof) once you have confirmed you are happy to buy at the correct price or otherwise cancel the Order (or part thereof) and refund your payment in full.

PRICE DIFFERENCE

If an item you purchase goes on sale within 5 days of your purchase, your item qualifies for the discounted price. Please note, the item must be in the same size and color that was purchased. CUSTOMERS WITH ORDERS OF AED 200 OR MORE:
We appreciate our customers for shopping for more than 200+ AED, for a similar reason we are not receiving any delivery charges on orders of AED 200+ which are waived off just to improve our relationship with our customers.
In the same policy we also advise our customers to please keep in mind that when the products are returned, your paid amount is transferred back to your Login Wallet Account, which can be easily utilized on your subsequent purchase, but the customer is charged with the delivery charges of AED 10 to AED 25 as per the policy defined by the company and depending on the route or service area.

THE CUSTOMERS WHO ARE UTILIZING THE WALLET AMOUNT CANNOT AVAIL OF THE FREE SHIPPING.

YOUR ORDER SHOULD FULFILL THE FREE SHIPPING POLICY

 i.e.FRESH PURCHASE OF 200 AED ON EACH VISIT

WALLET AMOUNT CONTAINS ONLY THE REFUNDED AMOUNT WHICH IS COMMITTED UNDER THE WEBSITE POLICY FOR RETURNS, WHICH CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY PROMOTION i.e. FREE DELIVERY OR OTHER ADJUSTMENTS.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Customer can cancel their order within 24 hours; refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer. Please allow for up to 45days for the refund transfer to be completed
  PARTIAL RETURNS
  • The customers are advised to understand the partial and completely subject return policy to the amount of the product which is being returned, for example:
  • The percentage eligible for free returns represent 50% of the total amount.
  • The product which costs less than 50% of the total ordered amount will be charged with standard delivery charges and the remaining amount will be transferred to Login Wallet Account which can be utilized in the subsequent order.
  • The orders which cost more than 200 AED can be considered partial returns but after coordination with the Customer Service Department and according to the return policy only.
  RETURN & REFUND POLICY
• Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment
  • If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, just make sure to contact us within 3 days from the day your order is delivered and ensure that the item is in its original packaging, unworn, and in the same condition, you received it.
  • If the item you have received is damaged, defective, or not as described on the website, return it back your payment will be transferred to your Account or you can purchase another item from our store,
  TO RETURN THE ITEM
  • Call our Customer Support Team at (+971-4-3555577) within 5 Days from the day your order is delivered to arrange a return.
  • An email will be forwarded containing a pre-paid shipping label for you to print and attach to the package. A pick-up will be scheduled by one of our courier services.
  • Items returned must be in their unused condition with the original packing. We do not accept a returned item worn, damaged, washed, or altered in any way.
  • Pack the item in its original state and packaging. Do not remove any code or labels on the box. Hand over the package to the courier representative.
  • Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and your payment will be transferred to your Login Wallet Account. You can use Your Wallet Account Balance for New Orders only.
  MAKEUP & COSMETICS:
  • All products should be used strictly in accordance with their instructions, precautions, and guidelines. You should always check the ingredients for products to prevent potential allergic reactions.
  THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED:

  MULTIPLE PRODUCT ORDERS:
  • For multiple product orders, we will consider every attempt to ship all items contained in that order at the same time. Unavailable Products at the time of shipping will be canceled from the order, by calling you in a proper way. If the order is through Cash on delivery then the payment will be deducted from Cash.
  • You will only be charged for products delivered in your shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge will be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple-shipment order.
  SHIPPING POLICY
  • Delivery will be made to the address specified when you complete the order, At the point of delivery, identity verification of the Consignee by sighting either a passport, driving license, Emirates ID, or Free zone ID to support the consignee verification, will be required by our courier partners.

• Please note that we do not do international shipping.

• Most orders will be delivered within the Next Business Day when the product ordered is in stock.

• Orders are not processed or shipped on Friday except by prior arrangement. We cannot guarantee when an order will be delivered. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a proper way to prevent delays caused by shipping or product availability. We exchange this information with our customers frequently that we have marked some No service areas in UAE which are out of route, due to which we charge AED 20 to AED 30 as delivery charges at the request of Courier Companies.

• In the event a product is classified at an incorrect price due to typographical error through our publishing department or any technical issues, www.giftcityuae.ae shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. www.giftcityuae.ae shall also enforce the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY
• your receipt of an electronic or another form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. www.giftcityuae.ae reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
OTHER CONDITIONS
•United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile” and stipulates that the governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in the U.A.E.

• We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of the UAE

Customers using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website (read more in privacy notes)

•These conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether www.giftcityuae.ae signs them or not. www.giftcityuae.ae reserves the right to make changes to this site and these conditions at any time.
